Product & Custom Solutions
Many gas wells contain a mixture of methane, carbon dioxide, and water. Presently, special means are implemented to separate the carbon dioxide and water from the methane using some of the latter as the energy source for the separation process. After separation, the methane is transported to end users, while the CO2 and water are released into the atmosphere, adding to existing greenhouse gas emissions.
A NewCO2Fuels plant can be used to convert the released carbon dioxide and water into drop-in fuels such as synthetic gasoline, diesel, and methanol. Alternatively, the syngas produced can be used to drive the separation process, hence increasing the natural capacity of the plant.
